Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Vasa Serafin, an individual developer based in Australia (“the developer”, “we”), and cover NexusAGI on the web, in the Android app and on the command line. By creating an account or using NexusAGI you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use NexusAGI.

The service

NexusAGI is an experimental assistant that answers using rules and knowledge. It is under active development, features can change or be withdrawn, and availability is not guaranteed. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under the age of majority where you live a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Your account

Keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us if you think it has been used without your permission.

AI output: read this

• Replies can be wrong, incomplete, out of date or inappropriate. Check anything that matters before relying on it.
• No professional advice. Nothing NexusAGI says is legal, medical, mental-health, financial, tax, engineering or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. In an emergency call your local emergency number.
• Do not use NexusAGI as the only basis for decisions that could affect health, safety, money, legal rights or other people.
• Replies are not statements of fact by the developer. You can correct a reply with the feedback buttons; see Reporting.

Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use rules. In short: do not break the law, harm others, attack or overload the service, try to get around limits or security, or use it to produce illegal, abusive or deceptive content. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.

Your content

You own what you write. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service, and to use your feedback and corrections to improve NexusAGI. Do not send anything you do not have the right to send. Chats on every plan, free or paid, are also stored as training copies as described in the Privacy Policy, and you give us permission to use them to train and improve NexusAGI.

Paid plans, prices, renewal and refunds are described in the Subscription and Refund Terms.

Intellectual property

The NexusAGI software, name and design belong to the developer. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

NexusAGI is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is accurate, reliable or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, profit or opportunity, or for anything you do in reliance on an AI reply. Our total liability for any claim relating to NexusAGI is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim (or A$100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded or limited.

Ending

You can stop using NexusAGI and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end access if you break these terms or the law. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability, governing law) continue after the end.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date below changes when we do, and continued use after that date means the updated terms apply. We will try to tell signed-in users about material changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Subject to any rights you have that cannot be excluded (including as a consumer in your own country), the courts of Australia have jurisdiction.
